MFCE enjoys promoting quality live acoustic music including jazz at great venues. Music styles have included Modern Jazz, Acoustic Pop, Blues, Cabaret, Brazilian music, Latin
American, Classical, Crossover-Jazz, Gypsy Swing, Jazz Fusion etc. We have usually
tried to include elements of jazz at MFCE events.
From Blues to Be-Bop, from a hot Swing beat to a cool laid-back melody, Jazz has become a part of our musical
heritage. Jazz is a style of music where the boundaries between composer and performer often overlap;
where the improvisational skill of the musician can constantly re-interpret the music, making each performance a new experience.
This constant re-moulding of the music is also what gives jazz a distinct sound.
Jazz Is Constantly Evolving
The artists that perform for MFCE are just an example of some
of the very special innovative musicians who are currently moulding the direction of jazz and acoustic music in
Britain today.
There are different types of jazz performed in the UK today. Jazz is constantly evolving and so are we at MFCE. We hope to organize more and more
quality events with great jazz and/or acoustic musicians. Be sure and try to see and hear some
of these musicians perform live at future MFCE events.
